Home check service

Ensure peace of mind when you are travelling. We will check on your home and will send you regular updates via email, text or phone, if desired. The following is a partial list of services. We are happy to customize a list to suit your needs. 

• Check windows, doors and garage 
• Ensure snow removal has been done or grass has been cut as per contract with your contractor
• Collect mail and leave it inside your home
• Complete a visual walk-around of house 
• Remove newspapers, flyers, packages
• Put out garbage and recycling

• Rotate which lights are on or off, so your home looks lived in
• Water plants in accordance with instructions
• Flush toilets and run water 
• Adjust curtains/blinds
• Check heating/air conditioning, ensure thermostat is set to appropriate temperature
• Do a visual check of furnace, hot water tank, refrigerator and freezer 

It is important to check with your insurance provider to determine what they require in terms of number of visits per week or month. Please note that we do not look after pets.
